The Law of the Lid – Leadership ability determines a person’s level of effectiveness.
This law teaches us that the leader is actually the lid of the organization. In other words, the leader’s level of growth will ultimately transfer to the organization. A leader that ceases to grow will be the achilles heel that keeps the organization from going to the next level. The good news is, the leader can choose to go higher. When the leader recognizes that there is more for them personally and that it is available to them, and they set their sights on going to new levels, they actually raise the ceiling of potential for themselves and those they lead.
